Fashion Friday: My Fall Nail Polish from Zoya

Just because retail stores and alike have decorated for the holiday and advertised (quite heavily if you ask me) Christmas since well before Halloween -doesn't mean it's still not fall yet. That being said, you might recall my blog post on the Fall 2011 Nail Polish collections being offered this season.

Yes, I completely realize it's almost December but..blame it on how busy it's been Behind the Designs. I really haven't a clue as to where the time goes. Of course, it took a holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) to actually (and finally!) test out one of my chosen fall nail polishes that I chose to add to my collection.

I prefer a little 'pearly' look to my nail polishes, so I chose Nimue from the fall collection. I wanted Jem but it was sold out. Although, in the end Nimue worked the best. It's a great grayish-pearly-muted-lavendary-purple. I'm not a gray person at all but I really liked this shade. I had recently found a muted lavendar-purple cowl neck type sweater and it paired perfectly with it, so I was very pleased with the shade.

Wasn't so fond of how it applied...seemed to get 'sticky' fairly quickly. You know, like how nail polish turns if left out in the air. But, it did give good coverage and four days later, it's still looking great. So, I think I'll keep it. :-)

Have you tried any of the Fall 2011 Nail Polish shades mentioned in the Behind the Designs Blog? If so, please do share!
